How to Use XComposer
1. Add the Bookmarklet:
- Go to the Bookmarklet webpage and drag the bookmarklet button to your browser's bookmarks bar. This tiny program helps you capture webpage content for XComposer.
2. Make a Twitter Thread:
Step 1: Capture Content
- Go to the webpage (like a blog post or article) that you want to share on Twitter.
- Click the XComposer bookmarklet in your bookmarks bar. It will collect the page's content and send it to XComposer.
Step 2: Process and Go to Twitter
- XComposer turns the content into a Twitter thread. You'll be taken to a page to compose a
thread at
https://x.com/compose/post
.
Step 3: Create the Thread
- On the Twitter page, click the XComposer bookmarklet again to put the first tweet's content in.
- To add more tweets to the thread, click the "+" (Add post) button. Do this for each tweet you want to add.
Step 4: Review and Post
- Check your thread to make sure it looks good and make any changes if needed.
- Click "Post all" to share the entire thread on Twitter.
Tips:
- Edit Tweets: You can change the text of each tweet before posting.
- Tweet Limits: Each tweet can only have 280 characters, so keep your messages short and clear.
